AI will Empower the Individual, not Big Business

For sure, individuals will benefit tremendously from the power of AI. AI already offers people the tools and information to understand and make better life and business decisions. From what I can see, AI has the potential to mint scores of entrepreneurs who can learn very quickly how to be successful. AI might be less successful for big business. Yes, there will be significant benefits such as productivity & efficiency gains, better, faster strategic planning, and clearer thinking & communication. But the biggest benefit - business model overhaul—will have to wait. Like Michael Hammer\'s Re-engineering dreams, what looks good on paper is difficult to realize because people struggle to work effectively across functions. They struggle to use management tools and technologies that don\'t account for their feelings and needs. While overcoming the need for people to work together seems mundane, in reality it is a huge problem. Until leaders find a workable solution, the biggest benefits of AI for big business will remain elusive.
