The Looming Gap Between AI Design and Reality

There is a big gap looming between AI design and its implementation. Many organizations are spending millions of dollars installing AI design and capabilities and far too little on implementation. The biggest hurdle of most new technology ideas is convincing people to use them. The failure and underdelivery rate is high. Just look at how much was invested on re-engineering and enterprise software such as SAP and the dismal offtake. If we are not careful, AI will also become like a big new shiny toy that no one wants to pay with.
